Local Action Project (LAP) Helping to Build a Better Union ![]() ![]() Political Action ![]() ![]() ATA Mentor Program The first year in teaching can be challenging. ATA''s mentor program, which pairs new teachers with veteran teachers, offers an effective support system during this time. As part of this program, new teachers attend a series of mini workshops during the year run by ATA Mentor Coordinator, Marc Engler and Asst Supt. of Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Kathleen Gulbin.
